SULLIVAN, Stephen J. of Berlin, MA, formerly of Roslindale & Quincy, passed October 2nd. Beloved son of the late John & Stella (Chruszcz) Sullivan. Loving husband of Dianna (Kelly) Sullivan. Father of Brian & his wife Tricia Sullivan and Kelly & her husband Michael Warren. Brother of Michael, Kenneth and Patricia and the late Robert Sullivan.
Grandfather of Alana, Brady, Colin, Halle, Myles and Marshall. Brother in law of Frank Bertoni and his late wife Barbara and Joseph & Deb DiBella. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Stephen was a late Superintendent of Transportation for the MBTA and a former Quincy Youth Hockey coach. Late US Army War Veteran, 82nd Airborne.
Married for 49 years, Stephen and Dianna built their lives around their children and grandchildren. They were the light of his life.
Stephen enjoyed playing cribbage and listening to baseball,especially the Boston Red Sox. He was an avid reader and spent many hours assembling his grandchildren’s Lego’s and toys. His most favorite pastime was vacationing with his loving wife in Aruba and the Dominican Republic where they created many happy memories. He made friends everywhere he went and loved helping others anyway he could.
After a long illness he was peacefully called home.

Funeral from the Chiampa Funeral Home, 5 Church Road, SHREWSBURY, MA, Tuesday, October 11th. Visiting hours will be from 10am to 12 noon, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church, 640 Main Street, SHREWSBURY, MA at 1 o’clock. Relatives and friends are invited.
Interment private.
