Rose Cioffi (Parano) formerly of Jamaica Plain, passed away after a long illness March 25, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Bernardo F. Cioffi. Loving mother ofEnrico & Margaret of Foxboro, Robert & Candice of Walpole, Janet & MichaelKennedy of Palm Springs, CA, Donna & her late husband, Edmund Matczak andthe late Steven Cioffi. Grandmother of Alisha Ritchie-Phayre, Christina Litchfield, Erica DeSolis and Laura Delp, her four granddaughters, one great grandson and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Joseph & Betty Parano, Junie Parano, Anthony Parano, Angelo & Lee Parano, Frank & Frances Parano, Jennie & Mike Gatto, Maron & John Tonner,Frances (Chickie) and Charles Lewis and her grandson, Anthony Cioffi.
Visiting Hours are Tuesday from 4-7 pm at Mann Rodgers Funeral Home, 44 Perkins St, Jamaica Plain.
UNDER THE COVID-19 GUIDELINES WE ARE ONLY ALLOWING 40 PEOPLE IN THE BUILDING AT ONE TIME. EVERYONE ENTERING THE FUNERAL HOME MUST WEAR A MASK. ALL VISITORS NEED TO BE SOCIALLY DISTANCE INSIDE THE FUNERAL HOME AND OUTSIDE ON FUNERAL HOME GROUNDS AS WELL. ALL VISITORS NEED TO EXIT THE BUILDING AFTER PAYING THEIR RESPECTS TO ALLOW FOR THOSE WAITING OUTSIDE THEIR TURN. WE APPRECIATE YOUR SUPPORT DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME.
Funeral from Mann Rodgers Funeral Home Wednesday at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass at St Thomas Aquinas Church, South St. at 10 o’clock. Again, masks must be worn and social distancing should be practiced.
Interment Fairview Cemetery.
