RUSSELL, Ronald "Ronnie" E. of Jamaica Plain, passed May 19, 2023.  Beloved son of the late Paul and Louise (Marino) Russell.  Loving brother of Donna McWilliams and her husband Mitchell of Berkley, MA and Sue O'Neil and her husband Joseph of Middleboro.  Also survived by his two nephews John and Michael Elliot.

Ronnie was a proud Vietnam United States Marine Corp. Veteran with many decorations including Rifle Sharp Shooter, National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and a Vietnam Campaign and Service Medal.  He was a long time member of the American Legion Post 76 in Jamaica Plain.

Ronnie was a very generous and caring person.  He always was lending a hand and helped out whom ever needed it.  He was a gentleman and a great friend to many and will be missed by everyone. 

Visiting hours will be THURSDAY, May 25th at Mann Rodgers Funeral Home, 44 Perkins Street, Jamaica Plain from 5-8pm.  Family and friends are invited.

A procession will leave Mann Rodgers Funeral Home on  Friday morning at 10am for interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery ,Mattapan
