MICHAEL YOUNG

YOUNG, MICHAEL of Crystal Lake, IL, Apr 12th.  Son of Jacqueline (Ogden) and the late Thomas Young. Loving father of Aislinn Young.  Brother of  Thomas Young of Boston, Jennifer & her husband Joseph Sullivan of Cohasset and Lori Ann & her husband Lou Perry of Hull. Also survived by nephews Christopher, Sean & Kevin Perry and Brendan Sullivan, and nieces Haley Harnett and Meghan Sullivan and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visiting hours are at the Richardson Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road in Scituate on Tuesday, April 23rd from 4-8 pm.  Relatives and friends invited.  A Funeral Mass will be held at St Anthony's Church in Cohasset on Wednesday, April 24th at 10 o'clock.  Interment will be private.

Michael’s great love was his daughter Aislinn.  Spending time with her brought his heart the greatest joy and she loved her dad.

Michael worked as an addiction outreach coordinator.  Through his work he helped an exuberant amount of people to get into recovery and change their lives.  Thus was his calling.  

Michael loved the New England Patriots, the Boston Bruins, the Celtics and most of all his first and favorite Boston Red Sox.  He loved being from a championship city.  He was Boston Strong. 

Michael loved photography and capturing the beauty of the world around him.  He photographed the moments  that would touch people’s hearts, from the homeless on the streets to a beautiful flower growing in the wild to capturing a beautiful sunset.
