MAUREEN KEARNEY Obituary

KEARNEY, MAUREEN of Sagamore Beach, Bourne, formally of Jamaica Plain

Maureen Kearney, 64,died October 25,2022, in the comfort of her home

surrounded by family and friends after a hard fight with ovarian cancer.

Maureen was born in Jamaica Plain to the late William and Marguerite (Smith),

and is survived by her sister Ann DiCarlo and husband John, and her brothers

William and his wife Bridget of Northborough, Michael and his late wife Elizabeth of

Foxborough, Stephen and his wife Cathy of Sandwich and Brian of Dedham.  She is

survived by many nieces and nephews and grandnieces Ashley and Emily Souto.

Maureen retired as a Sergeant from the Mass State Police Department after many years of service.

Celebration of Maureen's life will be held at St. Margaret's Church, 141 Main St.,

Buzzards Bay on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 . Visitation @ 9:00 am followed by a Mass

at 10:00 o’clock.

In Maureen's memory, the Kearneys ask that you live by her example and reach out to

a friend or a neighbor in need, with an act of kindness.

The Kearney Family invite you for a Celebration of Life at the Monument Beach Sports Club, 199 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne following the mass.
