MATILDE SEGURA, 96, widow of Gregorio Segura passed on October 25, 2022 after a long illness.  She immigrated to the United States from Dominican Republic in 1969 and has lived in Jamaica Plain since 1973.  She worked as a nurse at the Bani Hospital in  Dominican Republic for over 20 years.

She leaves behind a huge family and many, many friends and relatives.

Matilde is survived by Juana M. Feliz & son in law Milcyades Feliz,and 5 children, Manuel Pimentel (deceased) & 5 children, Celenia Bello & son in law Fidias Bello & 4 children, Regina Vidal (deceased) & 3 children, Margarita Smith & son in law John Smith & 3 children and Gregorio Segura (deceased) & 1 child.

Matilde is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.

Visiting hours are THURSDAY evening from 5-8 pm at Mann Rodgers Funeral Home, 44 Perkins Street, Jamaica Plain.  Relatives and friends invited.

A Funeral service will take place on Friday morning at 9am at the funeral home.  Interment St Michael's Cemetery, Jamaica Plain
