KENT, Martin J. of Jamaica Plain, passed October 30th.  Son of the late Thomas and Gladys (Martin) Kent.  Loving husband of Jeanne (Galarneau) Kent. Father of Valerie, Martin, Jr., Nicole and Sarah  Grandfather of  Brendon, Ethan, Jessica, Ashleigh, Lukas, Michelle, Victoria and James and Great grandfather of 2.  Brother of  Daniel Kent and Eileen Nehiley.  

Martin is a United States Navy Veteran and a member of the Sprinkler fitters Union, Local 550.  
Martin loved to vacation with his wife Jeanne of 53 years to Poland Springs, Maine and to Hampton Beach.  And most of all spending time with family.  He adored his children and grands.
Marty will be missed by many friends in his neighborhood where he lived since 1978 and was lovingly known as “The Mayor of  Eastland Road.”

Graveside Services are on Wednesday , November 5th at 1 o'clock at Forest Hills Cemetery, Jamaica Plain.  Family and friends invited.
