MARJORIE DASUTA Death notice

DaSUTA, Marjorie “Marge” Ann of Jamaica Plain.  Beloved daughter of the late John and Gertrude McCall.  Loving wife of the late Robert L. DaSuta.  Sister of Joanne Dube and the late Jack McCall.  Loving mother of Stephen (and Shannon), Dean (and April), Jason (and Serda) and the late Craig.  Adored Nana to her many grandchildren Daniela, Jacob, Jaycee, Gavin, Hadley, Cameron, Violet, Quinn, and Jaella; extended grandchildren Spencer, Sloane, Clancy, Ethan, Autumn, John, Ryan and extended great grandchildren Scottie and Sawyer.  A true matriarch to her entire family and extended family whom she loved dearly.

Marge was adored and admired by all who knew her and by those who had the privilege to be part of her life. She was truly a mother figure to all because of her kind heart and caring personality.  Marge cherished her invaluable friendships and relationships with the entire community at the Forest Hills Covenant Church; she went to service regularly and enjoyed coffee hour afterwards as well as other church gatherings.  She also took much pride in her family home in Nova Scotia, Canada, where she and her four boys as well as extended family spent their summers.

She will be greatly missed but always remembered.

The DaSuta family appreciates all who come to celebrate her life.  All are welcome.

Visiting hours will be at Mann and Rodgers Funeral Home, 44 Perkins Street, Jamaica Plain on Tuesday, March 7th, from 5-8 pm.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated at the Forest Hills Covenant Church, 455 Arborway, Jamaica Plain, on Wednesday, March 8th, at 10 am, with the internment to follow thereafter at the Gardens of Gethsemane Cemetery, 670 Baker Street, West Roxbury.
