John "Jack" Lydon passed away comfortably on July 21, 2022 in Boston, MA, after his battle with Hepatocellular Carcinoma.

He was born to Catherine "Kay" Curley  and Daniel Joseph Lydon in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts. He is survived by his children Michael Lydon and Kelly Lydon Ranson, his siblings James "Bo" Lydon, Nancy Payne and Catherine Cardillo and his beloved cat Fred. He is preceded in death by his brothers Daniel and Steven Lydon. 

Jack was a loving father and dedicated his life to his children, Kelly and Michael.  His career as a union laborer spanned nearly 35 years.  During his career, he was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local 25 and the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 513. He will be missed by so many.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Costello's Tavern, 723 Centre Street, Jamaica Plain  on Saturday July 30th from  2pm - 5pm.  All are welcome.
