Son of the late Olga E. Carrero and Juan Reyes. Loving father of ShaJuan, Jourdan & Jackson Carrero of St Mary’s. PA and his only daughter Shyanne Carrero of Lynn, MA. Also survived by sisters Vanity & Luz Reyes-Carrero and brothers Jose Carrero,Andre Paulino , his foster sister Erin Burns, his LEBF family, his best friend Joel Henderson and many nieces and nephews.
Juan grew up in Lynn, MA. He was in foster homes in Saugus, moved to Pennsylvania for 20 years and then lived in South Carolina for a year before moving back home to Boston to be with his family. He loved all sports and played when he was younger and his favorite team was the Raiders. Wiz had a good heart which was as big as his personality. He was a lovable and caring person. He’d give you the shirt off his back if he could help out. His smile and laugh would light up a room. He loved gathering with his loved ones dancing and listening to music. He effortlessly made people laugh. He loved his sister’s cooking, his Spanish food and was proud of being Puerto Rican. Juan was a role model, a good brother, father and friend and he will be greatly missed and remain in our hearts forever.

Visiting hours will be on Thursday, January 13th at The Mann Rodgers Funeral Home , 44 Perkins St. (corner of S. Huntington Ave)., Jamaica Plain from 5 to 8 PM. Family and friends are invited. Masks are mandatory inside the funeral home and social distancing will be practiced on the premises and inside the funeral home
Funeral services are Friday, January 14 at 11 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment private.
