FONTANEZ, JOSE ,Apr 14TH of Dorchester.  29 year veteran of the Boston Police Department.  Officer Fontanez leaves behind a wife, 4 children a grandchild and siblings. 

Family & friends may join a Funeral Procession from Mann & Rodgers Funeral Home, 44 Perkins St, Jamaica Plain on Saturday, April 18th at 10am. 

PLEASE REMAIN IN YOUR CARS.  There will be NO SOCIAL GATHERING on the property. 

The route will take us thru parts of his hometown & proceed to St Michael's Crematory.  IMMEDIATE FAMILY ONLY MAY ENTER THE CEMETERY.

The Family off Officer Jose Fontanez would like to extend their gratitude and thanks to everyone for kindness and showing of appreciation from Thursday thru Saturday, especially the Boston Police Department & First Responders, Boston Medical Center and all other Police Departments and many friends showing support along the routes who paid their respects by a blessing, a wave, a salute and the showing of the American and Puerto Rican flags.
