Jean E. MacDonald of Roxbury, MA, daughter of the late Lawrence and Elizabeth (Hickey) Chidley, originally from Newfoundland, Canada. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth, mother of Jennifer and Susannah, grandmother of Nicholas and Jacob, sister of Judy, sister-in-law of Anne-Marie, Jean, Kevin, Cynthia and Ray, aunt to many dear nieces and nephews, cousin to dear ones in Canada and beyond, and friend to neighbors and friends, passed peacefully in her home of sixty years. Jean will be remembered always for her kindness and loyalty, and above all, her love.

Visiting hours will be Sunday, August 17th at Mann Rodgers Funeral Home, 44 Perkins St., Jamaica Plain from 4 -7 pm.  Family and friends invited.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 18th at 10 o'clock at Mission Church in Roxbury.

Interment St Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
