KENIGS, Janis of Abington, June 2nd. Son of the late Vilis & Erika (Bergmanis) Kenigs. Beloved husband of Mirdza (Mitans). Loving father of Indra Foley and her husband Joe, Velga Kenigs and John Kenigs. Alsos urvived by 2 grandchildren, Maija and William Foley.

Janis was born in Riga, Latvia in 1936, but emigrated to the United States in 1948. After graduating from Northeastern University, he became an electrical planning engineer with Boston Edison for 36 years.

Per request of the family the interment will be private.
