JORDAN, James J.

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Jimmy, our loving and devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend to all whose lives he touched on September 4, 2024, a lifelong resident of Jamaica Plain.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his loving spouse Regina (Kelley) Jordan of Jamaica Plain.  He is survived by his sons Stephen Jordan of Jamaica Plain and James Jordan II and his wife Lynn of Wilmington. Grandfather to James III, Kaitlyn, and Eileen.

Jimmy was a devoted New England Patriots and Red Sox fan.

The family would like to thank all those who have helped with the care over the past few years, especially The Soldiers Home in Chelsea, Ma.

 His life was a living example of his favorite bible verse Ephesians 4:32 – “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”

Jimmy was a proud veteran of the United States Army.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday September 30, 2024, at 10:00a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, 97 South Street, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.  Family and friends are invited.
