GAYETANO CRESPO Obituary

CRESPO, Gayetano of Chelsea. Sept 10, 2023.

Son of Sandalio and Marta Crespo, beloved father, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully in his home. His legacy of love, kindness, and resilience will forever be cherished by his family and friends.

Gayetano is survived by his devoted children, Donna Crespo, Linda and her husband Richard Green, Richard Crespo and his wife Lourdes, and Renee Hibbard. He was a loving grandfather to Alexandria and her husband Wendell Lancaster, Richard, Joshua, Ethan, Evan and TJ. He was also the proud great-grandfather to Hutchinson Lancaster.

He shared a special bond with his surviving siblings, Maria Teresa and her  husband Alberto Claudio, Domenic Crespo and his wife Neida. Margarita and her husband Jose Delarosa, and Aracelia and her husband Jose Gomez. He was preceded in death by his siblings Pedro, Antonio, Juan, and Amelia, whose memories he cherished throughout his life.

Gayetano’s warm heart touched the lives of numerous nieces and nephews, who admired him as a role model and mentor. His generosity and wisdom will continue to inspire generations to come.

He will be remembered not only for his love for family but also for his mischievous spirit, which remains alive in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. 

Funeral from the Carafa Family Funeral Home, 389 Washington Ave, Chelsea, THURSDAY (today) at 9:15 am followed by a Funeral Mass at St Rose of Lima (lower church)  601 Broadway, CHELSEA at 10 o’clock.  Relatives and friends invited.

Visiting hours are Wednesday, 4-8pm at the funeral home.

Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.

May Gayetano’s soul find eternal peace, and may his family find solace in the cherished memories they shared together.
