FIDENCIO E. ORTIZ-SANCHEZ Obituary
ORTIZ, Fidencio E., 73, of Cambridge, MA, passed away the evening of November 26, 2022. He lived and loved living in Cambridge for 35 years. He enjoyed music, shopping, the outdoors and a good pair of sneakers. He was the son of the late Jose A. Ortiz (Toton) and the late Paulina Sanchez. He was the loving husband to Damaris Gomez de Ortiz. Loving father of Gossette Ortiz, Shirley Ortiz, and son in law Robert LaBonte, Jr., Paulo Ortiz, Tessa Ortiz and son in law Nadler Ducasse. He was grandfather of Givanna Ortiz, and Jabir Ducasse. He was Stepfather to Judith Gomez, Luis Gomez, Carlos Gomez. Also survived by siblings Augustin Ortiz, Jose A. Ortiz (Muneco), Rhadeunda Ortiz (Pililo), Anita Ortiz, Geraldina D. Ortiz & Lucecita Ortiz.
Visiting hours are THURSDAY from 4-8pm at Mann Rodgers Funeral Home, 44 Perkins St, Jamaica Plain. Relatives and friends invited.
Interment Friday at Cambridge Cemetery, 89 Coolidge Ave, Cambridge, Graveside at 1:30pm.
