FORD, DOLORES J.  of Jamaica Plain  Dolores Ford passed away peacefully at home on December 16th, 2022.
She was the beloved mother of 9, grandmother of 15, great-grandmother of 21.5, wife, sister, aunt, and friend. Her bonus children and grandchildren were innumerable. She enthusiastically made room for all babies and pets who claimed a place on her lap and in her heart. 
Dolores was retired from the Boston Police Department, where she coordinated Details. In retirement, she embraced the snowbird lifestyle, splitting her time between Jamaica Plain, MA, and Naples, FL.
Dolores enjoyed camping, particularly at Horseneck Beach, a good book, music, dancing, ice cream, and a nice cocktail. 
Visiting hours will be Tuesday, December 20th at Mann & Rodgers Funeral Home, 44 Perkins Street, Jamaica Plain from 4pm - 8 pm. Family and friends are invited. 
Funeral Mass will be at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Jamaica Plain on Wednesday, December 21st, at 10am.
Interment private.
