Cynthia Lea (Calderon) Watkins

Cynthia Lea (Calderon) Watkins, age 50, of Dedham, MA, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2024. She was the daughter of Jose R. Calderon and Patricia Doherty. 

Cyndi was a devoted mother to her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time with them and making memories. Cyndi enjoyed cooking and attending church every Sunday. She lived many of her younger years in Maryland where she attended Perryville High School.

Carmen Calderon step-mother, 6 children,  Randall Watkins, Jr., Jefferson Bryant, Jr., J'Allen and Jowell Bryant, Vanessa Watkins and Dalesha Pullum; brother, David McCormack; sisters, Laurie Blair, Crystal Calderon and Arcadia Calderon;  grandchildren, Ayoka Mobley, Kaius Locklear and Xavier Locklear-Watkins; as well as many nieces and nephews. 

Visiting hours will be on THURSDAY, May 16th at Mann Rodgers Funeral Home, 44 Perkins Street, Jamaica Plain from 4-8pm.  Family and friends invited.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at the Church of  the Good Shepherd, 62 Cedar Street, DEDHAM at 11 o’clock.

Interment St Joseph’s Cemetery, W. Roxbury.  

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Cynthia Watkins' name.
