CHRISTIAN P. NURSE 

of Mattapan, passed January 17, 2024. Loving son of Corinne Marie (Crawford) and the late Robert M. Nurse. Father of Jamellah Newton, Christian Teixeira,Tanesha Ortiz-Rodriquez, Skkyla Sampson, Corinne Nurse, Nyrie Nurse and Imani Brown. Brother of Keir Bradford-Grey and Jessica Bayne. Grandfather of Xyianna Hairston, Jamari Simmons, Cam’ryn Teixeira, and twins Aurius and Auriun Teixeira.
Christian was a fun loving guy who was known for his smile, jokes, and spunky personality. Always dressed to impress and the flyest guy in the room. He loved sports, cooking, and animals, especially his fur baby Skye. He will be deeply missed, but we find solace in knowing he's finally at peace. Instead of navigating the world in a wheelchair, the man upstairs has blessed him with wings. So, whenever you feel a sudden gust of wind, remember that's our father, Christian Nurse.

Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at the Charles Street AME Church, 551 Warren Street, Boston, MA  02121 from noon to 1pm followed immediately with a prayer service.  Relatives and friends invited.

Interment is private.
