AINA SKAUBITIS Obituary
Aina was born February 28, 1923 in Liepaja Latvia, and died peacefully on February 21, 2021. Aina was an elegant woman who loved her garden and her friends and her church. She was active in her student sorority Zinta, as well as the Women’s Auxiliary at the Latvian Lutheran Church of Boston. Aina and her late husband Imants loved to travel, and both kept busy in their later years by attending concerts, reading, as well as entertaining their friends and family. Aina is predeceased by her husband Imants, and her son George Skaubitis. Aina leaves behind her beloved daughter-in-law Christine Skaubitis, as well as many, many dear friends.
Funeral services will be private. Arrangements by Mann Rodgers Funeral Home, 44 Perkins Street, Jamaica Plain.
