KEARNEY, MARGUERITE M. of Bourne, 89, died February 27, 2019 in the comfort of her home. She fought a decade long battle of Alzheimer’s. Predeceased by her husband William P. Kearney of Jamaica Plain. Marguerite was survived by her six children. William and his wife Bridget (Northboro), Michael and his wife Elizabeth (Foxboro), Ann DiCarlo and her husband John(Sagamore Beach), Maureen (Sagamore Beach), Stephen and his wife Cathy (Sandwich), and Brian (Dedham). Devoted grandmother to her ten grandchildren and two great granddaughters. Also survived by her sister Helen Devlin (Mansfield) and several nieces and nephews. Marguerite was born in Jamaica Plain, daughter of the late Alfred and Margaret Smith. A celebration of Marguerite’s life will be held at St. Margret’s Church 141 Main St. Buzzards Bay, Ma on Monday March 4, 2019 at 10:30am. Interment will be at The Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 1pm. In lieu of flowers a donation can made in Marguerite’s honor to Bourne Fire Department Relief Fund, P.O. Box 911 Buzzards Bay, MA 02532.
