DARCY, CHRISTINE A. (Hickson) of Roslindale. Departed peacefully and surrounded by love on Nov. 11th

Beloved wife  of the late Gerard Darcy.  Cherished mother of  Michael & Carol Darcy, Kevin Darcy & Helen Sullivan, Catherine Darcy, Paul & Karin Darcy, Michelle Darcy and Kirsten  O’Brien and her late husband Stephen. Loving sister of Butch Lopaka, Cynthia Hickson, Joseph Hickson, Josephine Bavineau and the late Dennis Hickson. 

Also survived by 13 loving grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  

Christine graduated from Jamaica Plain High School.  She worked at Children’s Hospital and Harvard Vanguard as an administrator for many years.  She was passionate about human rights, equality, arts and all world affairs.  Christine was a lifelong learner, a world traveler and an avid reader who loved new people, cultures and experiences. 

A Celebration of Life and Love  will be held on Saturday at St Thomas Aquinas Church at 10am.  Relatives & friends invited.  Arrangements by Mann & Rodgers Funeral Home, Jamaica Plain.
